I'm Sooner Born and Sooner Bred

When I die, I will be Sooner Dead

I am proud to be able to treat my Dad to

an early Christmas gift this year.

I have two tickets to see the Oklahoma Sooners play Iowa State

in November. It will be Senior Day at Memorial Stadium,

a chance to see our boys play at home for the last time in 2011.

That day will be much more then that though.....

When I was just a little boy, my Dad took me to see the Sooners play.

That sights, sounds, and memories of that day are as real to me now

as they were back then.

Now we will be able to create new memories that will last the rest of our lives,

and I feel so proud to be able to treat my Father to this

experience, and to be there with him.

I could not think of anyone in the world I would rather be there with

more then my Dad.

The Meadow

reminding me how small we are and how grand this life can be -

above me I see the birds as they float with the breeze -

below me the water flows to the sea -

what a place this is -

this place we call home -

makes me dream of the ocean and friends by my side -
funny how memories flood your mind -
when you watch the current of water pass by.
